Facilitated Groups

What is a “circle?”

Circles are a technology as old as time. As long as humans have gathered, we’ve used the circle to know one another, support one another, challenge one another.

The circles I offer throughout the year are places for all of that and more.

In some ways, it’s actually difficult to describe, despite its simplicity.

Imagine a group of people, often starting as strangers, sitting together in a circle, using processes and methods as old as time to connect, share, inquire, listen, understand, grow, even heal. After an hour or two (let alone coming together for weeks or months), that sense of stranger, of ‘other’, tends to fall away. We find ourselves connected—human to human—just as our ancestors did.

In short, that’s a circle.

With different contexts breeding different needs, I try to create spaces that can respond to the very real-life needs of people out there trying their best. That’s probably you.

Current On-Going Circles

men’s circ.al*

A closed weekly circle for men. This group is currently closed, but will open for new applications soon. This is a place where we:

  • learn how to be open and vulnerable with one another;

  • find out we aren’t alone in our struggles, challenges, and feelings;

  • re-build our trust in other men;

  • connect more deeply with ourselves, as well as in our intimate relationships;

  • connect to a brotherhood of men who have our back.

*Formerly known as Men Connecting

Monthly In-Person Men’s Circle (Seattle)

A monthly, drop-in circle for men who want better, more meaningful relationships; who want to connect deeply to their lives and purpose; who want to find meaning beyond the hustle and grind of work.

Each month will focus on a different theme, giving you the opportunity to explore different facets of your life, your relationships, your masculinity.

September's Theme: Friendships and that feeling of isolation

Come to one, or come to all of them. The only commitment you need to make is to yourself.

We meet in Phinney Ridge from 6p - 8p (exact location provided with registration).

2025 Dates:

  • September 30th

  • October 28th

  • November 18th
